About the Role
The Volunteer at IE - Career Portal will support the coordination and delivery of engineering-related content, events, and resources for the platform’s community. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring consistent presence to collaborate with team members and support ongoing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing training sessions.
- Manage job information and references.
- Help curate and update technical materials.
- Support communication across various online channels.
- Engage with community members.
- Collect feedback.
- Help improve the quality and accessibility of career guidance content.
Qualifications
- Interest or background in engineering or related fields (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architecture, Safety, GIS, Planning, MEP).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize information, manage documents, and assist in maintaining content libraries and learning materials.
- Basic digital literacy, including familiarity with social media, online platforms, and office productivity tools.
- Demonstrated reliability, willingness to learn, and capacity to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Prior experience in volunteering, training support, or academic/community initiatives is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Relevant academic enrollment or qualification in engineering, technology, or related disciplines is beneficial.
