Data Analyst Intern

About the Role

At SkillzenLoop, this internship is where you learn to find answers in spreadsheets. You will take untidy data, make it trustworthy, and turn it into a chart or a table that someone can use to make a decision.

A Typical Week

• Monday: Receive the week's data exports and clean them in Excel, removing duplicates, blanks, and wrong entries.
• Tuesday and Wednesday: Write SQL queries to pull specific figures.
• Thursday: Build or refresh a Power BI dashboard from the cleaned data.
• Friday: Write a short note on what changed this week and what might explain it.
• Every day: Check your numbers against the source before sharing and log your work.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Working knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, charts)
• Basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, filters)
• Basic familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio (even from practice files)
• Clear written English
• A careful habit of re-checking your work
• A laptop and a stable internet connection

Skills that will help but are not required:

• Python with Pandas
• A practice dashboard, Kaggle notebook, or college project
• Basic statistics

Qualifications

• Final-year students and recent graduates from any stream, including B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, MCA, and MBA.
• Self-taught learners who can show a project or certificate.
• Freshers, with no prior experience needed.
• Candidates who can work full-time for the internship period.
