About the Role
Ranknest is seeking a part-time, remote intern to learn local SEO and AI search on real client work.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep client Google Business Profiles fresh:
- Upload client photos
- Review post drafts before they go live
- Check review replies
- Set up and audit new client profiles (categories, services, description, hours)
- Build local citations and business listings (e.g., Justdial, industry directories)
- Monitor how clients appear in responses from AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity for relevant business searches, and track changes.
- Assist in preparing monthly performance reports for clients.
- Proactively identify and report issues, such as suspended profiles or incorrect edits.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Attention to detail
- Comfort using Google tools
- Clear written English and Hindi
- Curiosity about how Google Maps, local search, and AI tools determine business visibility.
- A laptop and a stable internet connection.
- An active Reddit account is a plus.
Qualifications
- No experience needed; training will be provided.
This is an unpaid, part-time, remote internship for 3 months, requiring approximately 4 to 5 hours a day with flexible timing.
