Job Title: Junior Accountant - Invoice to Pay
Location: Ahmedabad, India
About the Role
Qatar Airways is recruiting for the role of Junior Accountant - Invoice to Pay at our Global Business Services (GBS) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The position is primarily responsible for performing account payable related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform invoice validation in Kofax AP agility (OCR system), upstream activity, and handling exceptions.
- Perform invoice data entry validation in various ERP systems: Oracle, JDE, MS AX, Business central.
- Perform data validation using OCR & ERP functionalities for assigned categories of supplier invoices.
- Generate and complete accounting documents for booking invoices of low/minimal complexities, considering payment modes such as Quick/Manual payment process and Batch payment process.
- Process vendor advances, prepaid expenses, set-off, debit notes, credit notes, month-end journal vouchers, and regular statistical reports, including vendor reconciliations.
- Follow up on raised POs/GRNs and monitor invoices on hold.
- Follow-up on pending queries and liaise with user departments to obtain data for responding to supplier/stakeholder queries.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- ERP experience (Oracle, JDE, MS AX, Business central)
- Knowledge of Kofax AP agility (OCR system)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills

- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- No prior job-related work experience required.
