Intern, DCC AI and Automation

About the Role

Internship opportunity focused on AI and Automation within the Digital for Customer Program Solutions department. This role aims to deliver innovative IT solutions supporting digital initiatives, transformations, and efficient maintenance and operations. This is ideally a 6-month internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of digital solutions for Customer Programs Solutions using modern tech stacks.
• Support the integration of AI and data-driven capabilities into applications to improve operational efficiency and decision making.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum teams, Architects, and Business Stakeholders to deliver, test, and continuously improve digital products and services.
• Participate in innovation initiatives, prototyping, and experimentation to explore new technologies and enhance capabilities.
• Receive support from a tutor to identify professional objectives and develop skills.

Skills You Will Develop

• Hands-on experience in full-stack development, cloud technologies, and data platforms in an enterprise environment.
• Practical exposure to real digital products, including automation and innovations.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and Agile Delivery skills while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a technical Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (or equivalent).

Technical Skills (Must Have)

• Strong fundamentals on Web Development using Node.js + React.
• Understanding of Data Structures.
• Basic SQL knowledge.

Technical Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to ML / GenAI.
• Basic understanding of AWS.
• Some exposure to Devops.
• PySpark / Big Data Exposure.
• Google Apps Script Exposure.
• Linux/Unix.
