About the Role
Holland Bikes is seeking a Front Desk and Store Representative for weekend shifts at its New York City locations. The company, established in 2002 and headquartered in Paris, France, is a leading provider of bike tours and rentals.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and checking in customers
- Handing out bikes and necessary equipment for tours and bike rentals
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Supporting tour guides in the timely departure of their tours
- Ensuring the shop is clean and well-organized
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Hospitality skills: warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, willingness to facilitate
- Social skills: ability to communicate easily with people from different countries and cultures
- Adaptability: ability to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges
- Pride in work: commitment to providing guests with unforgettable experiences
- Independence: ability to work independently, including opening and closing the shop on weekends
- Speaking multiple languages is a HUGE plus (in particular: Dutch, German, French or Italian)
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sundays, from 9am to 5pm)
- Additional (week)days available if desired
