About the Role
CapTech is seeking undergraduate Juniors passionate about technology and driven to solve complex business and technical problems to join our internship program, Elevate. This 10-week, in-person program in Richmond, Virginia, offers a meaningful immersion into the full life cycle of a typical IT consulting project, simulating a client engagement. Interns will work in self-led teams, guided by full-time consultants, and participate in weekly lunch-and-learns with the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and developing applications with leading front-end and back-end technologies in web, mobile, cloud, web services, and/or DevOps.
- Partnering with client stakeholders to build systems in new and innovative ways.
- Managing parallel development and code versioning with Git.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Project or internship experience utilizing development platforms and languages such as Java, .NET, C#, C++, Go, Android, iOS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, AWS, and Azure.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduates with expected graduation dates in December 2027 - May 2028, seeking full-time work after graduation.
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-motivated contributor in a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- All majors welcome to apply; Computer Science, BIT, Systems Engineering majors preferred.
- Availability to work in-person 40 hours/week for 10 weeks in Richmond, VA from June 1 through August 6, 2027.
- Housing stipend provided for those living more than 50 miles away.
- Ability to work at CapTech’s Richmond, VA office.
- Authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Hourly pay for this role is $30/hr.
