Securities Operations Associate

About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Operations Associate to support the execution of securities transactions and operational activities across the trade lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Process basic securities-related transactions and support activities across the trade lifecycle.
• Support cash movement, funding, and account servicing activities.
• Research and resolve routine operational issues, exceptions, and inquiries.
• Conduct daily production activities and ensure timely, accurate execution of operational processes.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, controls, and risk management practices.
• Support client onboarding, securities settlement, and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deliver consistent operational support and service.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of Investment Banking and Retail Banking.
• Good knowledge of Checks, ACH, and Wires.
• Experience with securities processing systems, brokerage platforms, Microsoft Excel, and other tools to support transaction processing, reporting, and reconciliation activities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of securities operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Experience supporting securities operations, brokerage operations, wealth management operations, or related financial services functions.
• Knowledge of securities transactions, trade support, settlement, reconciliation, account servicing, asset movement, and transaction processing activities.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated success identifying operational issues, resolving exceptions, and making sound risk-based decisions.
• Knowledge of operational risk, controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, quality standards, and service expectations.
• Customer service and relationship management skills, with experience collaborating across teams, supporting customer transactions, and partnering effectively with internal stakeholders.

Job Expectations

• Night Shift: 06:30 PM IST to 03:30 AM IST.
