Junior Ai Engineer

About the Role

Welvox builds intelligent AI agents to automate operations and enhance decision-making for businesses. The Junior AI Engineer will support the design, development, and deployment of AI agents and workflows for client projects. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Haldwani.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and test machine learning and neural network models.
• Work on Natural Language Processing (NLP) features.
• Contribute to software components that integrate AI systems with existing business infrastructure.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to refine models.
• Analyze model performance.
• Participate in code reviews and documentation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and version control tools.
• Knowledge of Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks.
• Experience implementing or experimenting with machine learning models.
• Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts.
• Familiarity with modern LLMs or related frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in AI, such as Python.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Ability to analyze data.
• Ability to debug issues.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly within a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in applied AI, workflow automation, and building production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
