About the Role
Vokx Inclusive is exploring a new initiative focused on connecting people with disabilities to digital accessibility research and real-user testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the digital accessibility testing ecosystem in India.
- Explore the need for real users with disabilities in accessibility testing.
- Identify gaps in participant recruitment and coordination.
- Help develop a network of people with disabilities interested in participating in accessibility research.
- Explore collaborations with accessibility consultancies, UX research agencies and technology companies.
- Support the development and coordination of real-user testing initiatives.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in digital accessibility testing or WCAG evaluation.
- Understanding of screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver.
- Knowledge of how people with disabilities interact with websites and applications.
- Experience in usability testing or user research involving people with disabilities.
- Understanding of participant recruitment and research coordination is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Accessibility engineers, WCAG testers, accessibility consultants, UX researchers, usability testing professionals and assistive technology specialists.
- We particularly welcome applicants with practical experience in real-user accessibility testing.
