About the Role
As a Waste Management Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the Toledo, OH office, you will support in-office and field activities primarily associated with solid waste landfill and transfer station facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- In-office activities:
- Tabulating laboratory and field test data.
- Compilation of technical reports.
- Stormwater management system design.
- Landfill gas collection system design.
- Field activities:
- Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) tasks such as monitoring and documenting landfill cell, cap, and gas collection system construction.
- Use of equipment for monitoring landfill emissions.
- Interact and communicate with CEC office and field staff, clients, and contractors.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
- Prior internship and/or design experience a plus.
- Local candidates preferred.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship.
