Summer 2027 Petcare Quality and Food Safety Internship

About the Role

As a Quality and Food Safety Intern at Mars Petcare, you will gain exposure to key areas within Research & Development. This is a 10-week summer program designed to provide in-depth experience with real business challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to Product Development.
• Gain exposure to Packaging Development.
• Gain exposure to Process Development.
• Gain exposure to Quality & Food Safety.
• Gain exposure to Product & Package Translation Support.
• Gain exposure to Sensory.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Students will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date (typically rising seniors).
• Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
• Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from the work site.

Qualifications

• Desired majors include: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, Animal Science.
• Note: Some positions may be at a facility that processes nuts or allows dogs and cats on site. Please inform us if this raises any concerns.
