About the Role
The DevOps Intern role at PPStack is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of development and deployment workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with CI/CD pipeline configuration.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting build and integration issues.
- Collaborating with software developers to streamline releases.
- Helping manage containerized applications.
- Working with Kubernetes-based environments.
- Supporting Linux-based systems administration.
- Documenting processes.
- Following DevOps best practices.
- Contributing to automation and optimization initiatives under guidance.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in Software Development and Integration in modern development environments.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration practices and basic CI/CD pipeline tools.
- Understanding of container orchestration using Kubernetes and related DevOps workflows.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, command-line tools, and basic system administration.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
