Associate, Strategic Finance

About the Role

As part of the Strategic Finance team, you will help scale financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities, empowering decision-makers across various businesses and functions. You will play a key role in all aspects of financial reporting and contribute to strategic and operational initiatives, driving real-time business decisions.

Applications may be submitted to Delivery, Central, and Growth Finance areas based on role availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Operational Planning: Partner with company leaders to develop financial forecasts and operational goals.
• Partner with the business: Apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision-making related to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities.
• Sophisticated financial modeling: Break down complex business problems and build or improve models.
• Strategic Thinking & Execution Excellence: Partner with your team to execute projects and operationalize insights.
• Work closely with accounting to provide input on management reporting needs and understand actuals.
• Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excel/Google Sheets
• Financial and/or analytical experience including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations.
• SQL (Preferred)
• Enterprise-level financial planning systems (Preferred)
• Statistical software package (Preferred)
• Basic knowledge of GAAP (Preferred)

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, or other relevant subject.
• 2+ years of proven experience.
• Outstanding analytical skills; models should be efficient, scalable, and intuitive (Preferred).
• Excellent communication and people skills (Preferred).
• Self-starter: Ability to take initiative, be dedicated, and set and drive toward goals (Preferred).
• Ability to prioritize and work in an ambiguous environment, comfortably multitasking (Preferred).
