Guest Service Associate/ Cashier

About the Role

The Guest Service Associate/Cashier role at Global Partners LP is responsible for driving top-notch guest experience while facilitating the completion of all store-level tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale according to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic computer functions
• Ability to count, read, and write accurately for required paperwork.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible hours, including day, night, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (e.g., outside, cooler).
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training.
