About the Role

Referment is working with a global investment firm hiring a Product Operations Associate for its Human Capital Product Management team. This team optimizes the technology platforms behind the firm's recruiting and employee support processes. You will work across several interconnected HR systems, splitting your time between operational support and small product projects, with a pathway to grow into product management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to troubleshoot user issues, coordinate system changes, and provide operational support.
  • Administer permissions and manage user access across interconnected human capital systems, applying sound judgment to configurations.
  • Take ownership of small-scale product projects — scoping, requirements, testing, and rollout — with guidance from senior team members.
  • Contribute to system configuration work, support larger roadmap initiatives, and engage stakeholders to understand user needs and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct data cleanups and audits to keep data quality high and support scalable system design.
  • Build a foundational view of the proprietary systems and third-party products that make up the firm's human capital systems landscape.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to think critically about system configurations and troubleshoot user requests.
  • Adaptability and learning agility when working with unfamiliar systems and processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to track work through to completion.
  • A proactive approach and genuine interest in both operational and product management work.

Professional experience (including internships) is preferred but not required.

This role could suit a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in systems, detail, and execution, with a clear route into product management on HR technology.
