About the Role
- Provide a unique opportunity to interface and contribute to the development of hospital initiatives in various departments.
- Specific focus to special projects in assigned area.
- No hands-on patient care.
- Under close supervision, perform entry-level professional duties providing the opportunity for professional training in various departments within the hospital.
- Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance.
- Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the Hospital's organizational structure and services.
- Utilize Hospital and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
- Specific activities vary by assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and organize data to provide information for departmental special projects or reports.
- Assist in preparing written reports.
- Filing.
- Accompany professional-level employees on assignment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate-level degree program and have completed at least one semester of classes with a minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
- Prior experience in healthcare (preferred).
- Interest in healthcare (preferred).
