About the Role
To drive new business growth and revenue for the life insurance company by recruiting, training, managing, and retaining a dedicated network of tied insurance advisors/agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Advisor Recruitment: Prospect, interview, select, and appoint new life insurance advisors/agents to build a strong, active agency force.
- Sales Target Achievement: Drive and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual premium collection and policy issuance targets through the assigned advisor team.
- Training & Enablement: Train, coach, and develop advisors on life insurance products, pitching, objection handling, and digital sales tools/CRM portals.
- Advisor Activation & Retention: Ensure active participation (activation) of recruited agents, conduct regular huddles/meetings, and drive retention to lower agent attrition.
- Compliance & Quality: Maintain high standards of business ethics, ensure proper customer documentation, prevent policy lapses/fraud, and adhere to IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) guidelines.
- Customer Servicing: Assist agents and policyholders with post-sales service, renewals, claims support, and grievance handling.
