About the Role
This position involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and pushing carts. The Inventory Clerk will walk several miles daily to pick, deliver, and put away materials within the department and throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory.
- Maintains storeroom inventory levels and timely removal of expired products.
- Investigates and troubleshoots inventory issues/problems.
- Maintains accurate tracking records for inventory.
- Minimizes stock expiration by adhering to stock rotation guidelines and best practices.
- Engages customers regularly to ensure good service, requiring professional interaction with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- Vocal skills, reading, and basic math are necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Shift: Day Shift, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week, every other weekend.
