Junior Software Engineer

BeachClubs.ae is the leading dedicated platform for discovering and booking beach clubs across the UAE.

About the Role

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Engineer. The role involves assisting in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services and APIs that power the BeachClubs.ae platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing new features
• Fixing bugs
• Reviewing code with founders and senior engineers
• Contributing to performance and security improvements
• Collaborating with product and design teams
• Writing clean and maintainable code
• Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
• Assisting with documentation, deployment processes, and monitoring

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Practical experience in Software Development and Programming
• Back-End Web Development knowledge, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with basic CI/CD workflows
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment and communicate clearly

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles
• Preferably experienced with one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to learn from feedback
• Interest in online platforms, marketplaces, or travel/hospitality technology is a plus.
