About the Role
Leidos is seeking a Software Tester to work with the CEMA (Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities) department. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of products that alert customers of potential Cyber and EW attacks. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver who enjoys digging, automating, and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing test planning, monitoring, and execution.
- Learning, troubleshooting, and asking questions.
- Developing and executing software test cases in a Linux/Windows environment with a focus on repeatability.
- Reviewing and verifying system-level and software-level requirements, collaborating with team members for understanding.
- Discovering and documenting technical defects to ensure easy reproduction by team members.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Technical Degree.
- Experience in C++ or other high-level SW languages.
- A proven ability to program (demonstrated via GitHub, prints, or in-interview coding).
- Navigational knowledge of Linux and Windows.
- Problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or working knowledge of C++, Python.
- Experience or working knowledge in Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
- Bash/PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with Jira (issue tracking and agile project management) or similar tools.
- Experience or working knowledge of writing automated and/or unit tests.
Additional Information
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
- Must possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SCI clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
