Job Summary

Citi's Creative and Media Services team is looking for an accomplished editor and versatile production specialist to help shape the firm's growing audio offering and support high-priority communications across formats. This role will have primary editorial and production responsibility for Citi Audio, working with communicators and senior leaders to develop, record and produce compelling audio-driven content and original programming. The role will also bring deep audio expertise to live and internal events, support music and content licensing requirements for new activations, and provide hands-on production capabilities across the team’s studio operations. The ideal candidate combines strong editorial judgment and storytelling instincts with professional technical production skills, disciplined project management and a commitment to consistently high-quality standards, operating as both a creative partner and a dependable practitioner, able to move from concept to production to publishing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead editor and, as needed, produce select content for Citi Audio, in partnership with Global Communications colleagues and relevant business stakeholders.
  • Develop, record, edit and deliver executive audio content, including interviews, briefings, conversations and other original segments.
  • Partner with communicators to translate business and leadership priorities into distinctive audio concepts, episode structures, interview approaches and scripts that are clear, engaging and appropriate for internal audiences.
  • Prepare executives and other participants for recording sessions, including content development, briefing, run-of-show planning, microphone technique and on-site or remote session management.
  • Own hands-on audio production from recording through final delivery, including studio and field setup, editing, sound design, mixing, mastering, quality control, and publishing.
  • Establish and maintain editorial and production standards for recurring audio programming.
  • Provide audio leadership for live, hybrid and internal events, partnering with event, venue and technical teams on sound requirements, show execution and troubleshooting.
  • Select, curate and, where appropriate, produce playlists and other music-based experiences that reinforce the tone, audience and objectives of firm events while meeting brand, cultural and licensing considerations.
  • Evaluate audio tools, libraries, platforms and vendors, recommending solutions that balance creative quality, user experience, scalability, security, accessibility and cost.
  • Provide flexible production support across the department, including teleprompter operation, camera and lighting setup, video capture, still photography, media management and other on-site production needs.
  • Collaborate with video, design, digital, editorial, event and infrastructure colleagues to develop integrated content packages and ensure consistent execution across channels.
  • Manage multiple productions and event workstreams simultaneously, communicating clearly on schedules, dependencies, approvals, risks and delivery status.
  • Stay current on audio storytelling, production techniques, audience behavior and emerging technologies, identifying practical opportunities to strengthen content quality and colleague engagement.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
