About the Role
We are looking for a skilled DBT Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable data models using DBT. The role focuses on transforming raw data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets that support business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics.
Location: PAN India
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain DBT models for transforming data in the warehouse
- Implement data transformations, tests, documentation, and version control using DBT best practices
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Optimize SQL queries and DBT models for performance and scalability
- Build and maintain data marts, fact tables, and dimension tables
- Implement data quality checks, tests, and monitoring
- Manage DBT deployments using CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain clear documentation using DBT docs
- Support BI tools and downstream analytics use cases
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong experience with DBT (Core or Cloud)
- Proficient in SQL (advanced level)
- Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, or Databricks
- Understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, dimensional modelling)
- Experience with Git / version control
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines
- Knowledge of data quality, testing, and validation techniques
