About the Role
This role is responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting a variety of internal and external IT systems. The IT Technician provides comprehensive technical support and assists with system administration. This role is part of the IT Team that works together to achieve the organization’s technology goals. We’re seeking a motivated, entry-level IT professional who takes initiative, is eager to learn, and is committed to developing their skills in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist internal teams with IT issues
- Manage virtual and physical IT infrastructure
- Administer computers, users, and groups within Active Directory
- Support servers and user workstations
- Configure and maintain line-of-business applications
- Establish and maintain a hardware and software asset inventory
- Support IT projects
- Other related duties as required
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience with maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting an enterprise-level IT environment
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 or later and Active Directory, including Group Policy and RBAC
- Strong proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies (VMware and Azure)
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, including core network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
