About the Role
As a Civil Engineering Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Toledo, OH office, you will perform civil engineering tasks supporting project teams to create development plans and specifications, calculation briefs, and construction documentation for commercial, industrial, and municipal clients. You will have the opportunity to work across various disciplines including Geotechnical, Civil/Site, Environmental, and Surveying.
Through the CEC Internship Program, you will:
- Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses.
- Learn from industry experts.
- Collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations.
- Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities.
- Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges.
- Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil Engineering program.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Prior internship and/or related construction experience preferred.
