Welcome Coordinator (Bilingual/Spanish)

About the Role

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health plays a crucial role in creating an inclusive environment and ensuring a positive first and last impression for patients. As the face of the clinic, Welcome Coordinators contribute to efficient center operations by performing administrative tasks that support the broader teams in delivering an excellent patient experience. They are part of the Service Team and report to the Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms
• Collecting co-pays
• Updating patient information and making changes in the electronic medical record platform
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments within the electronic medical records platform
• Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas
• May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong computer skills
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite
• Professional phone etiquette
• US work authorization
• A flexible and positive attitude
• A welcoming and nurturing attitude toward older adults
• High level of integrity

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish (or Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities served, where necessary)
• Experience in a customer service setting (strongly preferred)
• Some college (preferred)

Pay Range: $17.00 - $25.65 per hour

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program.
