About the Internship
Much of the software that businesses trust with important records still runs on Java, and Medinex Workforce is no exception. Our systems hold candidate data, client contracts and placement history, so the code behind them has to be structured, tested and stable. This internship teaches you how enterprise-style software is built, from clean object-oriented design to services that read and write a database. You will work on real modules, get your code reviewed and see how professional teams keep large applications dependable.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, well-structured Java code using object-oriented principles
- Build and test simple REST services using Spring Boot
- Connect applications to MySQL using JDBC, or JPA and Hibernate
- Work with collections, exception handling, and multithreading basics on real tasks
- Debug and improve existing modules under the guidance of senior developers
- Write unit tests with JUnit to check that your code behaves correctly
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and walk through your work in code reviews
- Share progress in daily check-ins and a weekly review
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Good understanding of core Java and object-oriented programming (classes, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with the Collections framework and exception handling
- Patience with debugging and curiosity about how good software is designed
- The habit of testing your code before sharing it
- A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Maven or Gradle, Postman, and Git
- A GitHub profile, coding practice profile, or a personal Java project
Qualifications
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA or related streams
- Self-taught developers who can show a project or certificate
- Freshers are welcome, and prior experience is not required
- You must be available full-time for the internship period
What you will gain
- Experience of enterprise-style Java development
- Code reviews and guidance from experienced developers
- Java projects and code samples you can show in future interviews
- Internship completion certificate
- The freedom to work from your own city anywhere in India
Working Schedule
Full-time, Monday to Saturday or as assigned by your reporting manager, with daily check-ins and a weekly review.
