Tax Analyst

About the Role

This role involves assisting with various tax-related activities to ensure compliance and accuracy within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing income tax computations and tax returns.
• Support advance tax calculations and tax payment tracking.
• Maintain tax-related schedules, reconciliations, and working papers.
• Assist with tax audits, assessments, and departmental queries.
• Review tax-related ledger entries and ensure accurate accounting.
• Reconcile GST, TDS, and other statutory balances with books of accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with the finance team and external consultants for tax matters.
• Maintain tax records, returns, challans, and supporting documents.
• Monitor changes in taxation laws and applicable compliance deadlines.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory filings and payments.
• Support internal and external audits by providing tax-related information.
