About the Role
Electro is a fast-growing sports nutrition brand with an athlete network spanning college programs and professional partners. We are expanding our NIL and social media team. This is an unpaid internship. The intern will support our athlete partnerships team.
Key Responsibilities
- Research athletes by school and sport.
- Reach out to athletes about NIL opportunities.
- Keep all communication organized.
- Respond to athlete messages daily with accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
- Escalate unique requests or issues to the founding team promptly.
- Identify strong athlete content for potential use on Electro's channels.
- Coordinate with the founding team on athlete program updates.
- Send personalized messages and emails to NIL athletes about partnership opportunities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote startup environment.
- Knowledge of college sports, including major programs and conferences.
- Clear, professional, and personable writing style.
- Interest in sales, business development, or partnerships.
Qualifications
- The internship may earn college credit. Electro will provide any documentation required by the student's school.
- Practical experience in NIL, athlete management, and CRM operations.
- Real sales and business development experience: prospecting, pitching, pipeline management, and closing.
- Hands-on experience at a fast-growing sports nutrition company.
