About the Role

We are partnering with an established, well-capitalized real estate private equity firm seeking an Investment Associate to join its growing investment team. This is an opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, institutionally backed investment platform where Associates play a meaningful role throughout the investment lifecycle. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, sophisticated transactions, and a broad range of investment strategies. The emphasis is on investment analysis, underwriting, transaction execution, and developing the judgment necessary to evaluate and execute complex real estate investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial underwriting, valuation, and investment analysis for potential acquisitions and development opportunities across multiple asset classes.
  • Build and manage sophisticated financial models, including sensitivity analyses, scenario modeling, capital structures, and investment return projections.
  • Evaluate prospective investments, identify key risks and opportunities, and develop actionable investment recommendations.
  • Take ownership of significant components of the transaction process, including due diligence, third-party coordination, financing analysis, and closing execution.
  • Prepare and present investment memoranda and recommendations to senior investment professionals and investment committees.
  • Analyze business plans, market fundamentals, operating assumptions, and potential value-creation strategies.
  • Work directly with brokers, lenders, operating partners, and other transaction counterparties.
  • Evaluate joint venture structures, financing alternatives, and transaction-level economics.
  • Collaborate with asset management teams on strategic initiatives, refinancings, repositionings, and dispositions.
