About the Internship
Medinex Workforce aims to leverage machine learning to enhance candidate profile matching to client roles, predict candidate offer acceptance, and flag roles with longer filling times. This internship offers hands-on experience from data to a trained and tested model, emphasizing data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess recruitment data for model training.
- Engineer features from raw data fields such as skills, experience, and location.
- Train classification, regression, and clustering models using Scikit-learn.
- Compare different algorithms and document their performance.
- Tune model parameters and check for overfitting and bias.
- Measure model performance using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score.
- Package simple model demos for team evaluation.
- Document notebooks and experiments for reproducibility.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Good working knowledge of Python, including Pandas and NumPy.
- Understanding of core machine learning concepts and common algorithms.
- Comfort with basic maths and statistics.
- Habit of running experiments and iteratively improving results.
- Clear written English for documentation.
- A laptop and stable internet connection for remote work.
- Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn (Nice to have).
- Exposure to TensorFlow or PyTorch (Nice to have).
- A Kaggle notebook, GitHub project, or certificate (Nice to have).
Qualifications
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS, IT, Maths, Statistics), MCA, M.Sc, or related streams.
- Self-taught learners who can demonstrate a project or certificate.
- Freshers are welcome; prior experience is not required.
- Availability for full-time internship commitment.
Internship Details
- Duration: 1 to 3 months

- Stipend: Up to INR 15,000 per month
