About the Role
As a Corporate Recruiter, you will be responsible for recruiting applicants for a wide range of open positions at The Toro Company (TTC) through various channels including TTC’s career site, employee referrals, and job fairs. You will employ effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified applicants, screen candidates based on work history and qualifications, and collaborate with HR and hiring managers on offer preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support company talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build relationships and partner with HR business leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs.
- Source and attract candidates through various methods.
- Identify and recommend process improvements; participate in project teams.
- Engage in recruiting activities to reach a diverse pool of candidates, including women, minorities, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
- Evaluate candidates through phone screens and behavioral-based interviews.
- Prioritize requisition loads effectively and work independently to fill positions responsively and in a timely manner.
- Complete other assigned duties and projects.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners.
- Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems and online recruitment tools.
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, with a focus on talent acquisition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0-2 years recruiting experience (Recruiter I).
- 2-4 years recruiting experience (Recruiter II).
Other Job-Related Components
- Position is based at TTC facility in Bloomington, MN.
- May require limited travel to TTC sites throughout the U.S.
Compensation
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $85,000 annually (estimate).
- Eligibility for an incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
