About the Role
KATRINA WAN PR is seeking a Spring Film Publicity Intern. This is a hands-on experience with an opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Updating and researching media contacts
- Updating publicity status reports
- Conducting phone interviews between A-List talent and press
- Creating and updating production notes to distribute to press
- Distributing mailers to press
- Creating pre-premiere press documents including: Tip Sheets, Photo IDs, Schedules, Reserved Seating Signs, etc.
- Accompanying talent to local appearances including live television, radio and podcast tapings
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be able to receive college credit
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week spread over 3 days
- Hybrid - Must be able to come to the office one day a week
Qualifications
- Hard-working
- Organized
- Detail-oriented
- Passion for public relations within the film entertainment industry
- Interest in public relations and/or the film industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask
- Research skills
- Proficient at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Cision / Muck Rack experience a plus
