About the Role
Guidehouse is seeking financial management professionals to support a Department of Defense client.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures, and DoD organizational structures.
- Offer financial audit statements and audit readiness services.
- Demonstrate understanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems.
- Understand DoD acquisition, inventory, property and material management.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance. Adjudication required prior to onboarding.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- ZERO (0) to ONE (1) years of professional experience.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration.
- Experience in FASAB Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) 6, 10, 50, and/or 54.
- Experience in OMB Circular A-123 and/or A-136.
- Federal Financial Management or Federal Accounting experience supporting the Department(s) of the Air Force, Army, and/or Navy.
- Currently possess one or more of the following certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Program Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
- Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
