- Document current-state processes, process maps, and terminology glossaries.
- Gather and write requirements for enhancements and projects, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Support testing, including building test cases, executing functional and regression testing, and tracking defects.
- Assist with user onboarding, security setup, and training material development.
- Support system interfaces and scheduled jobs, including monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
- Contribute to system implementation, upgrade, and replacement projects, including data validation, reconciliation, and post-go-live support.
Requirements & Tech Stack

- Scripting or programming experience in any language (e.g., Python, C#, VBA, R) (preferred).
- Familiarity with process mapping, requirements documentation, or Agile delivery (preferred).
- Interest in refined products, marine fuels, or physical commodity supply and logistics (preferred).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (completed or completing) in physics, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a comparable analytical field.
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with comfort reasoning about numbers, units, and formulas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Solid Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and working with large datasets.
- Precision and follow-through, recognizing the impact of small errors.
- Willingness to learn the commodity trading business and ask clarifying questions.
