About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Regional Content Intern to join our Content team at Traya. The role involves creating regional-language content (Malayalam and Kannada) for performance ads, identifying relevant regional influencers, briefing them, checking their raw assets, and coordinating with video editors to take creatives from concept to final delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of regional language, culture, and audience preferences, with the ability to write engaging ad scripts that feel natural and relatable to local audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Ad Scriptwriting: Write engaging scripts for performance marketing ads in Kannada and/or Malayalam, adapting concepts to suit local audiences, cultural nuances, and language preferences.
  • Creative Research: Research regional content trends, competitor ads, and winning creative formats to develop fresh concepts and hooks for performance campaigns.
  • Influencer Shortlisting: Identify and shortlist relevant regional influencers based on language, content style, audience relevance, engagement, and brand fit.
  • Video Editing Coordination: Brief video editors, share scripts and creative references, provide feedback on edits, and coordinate revisions to ensure timely delivery.
  • End-to-End Creative Execution: Track creatives from ideation and scripting through editing and final submission to the Performance Marketing team.
  • Quality Checks: Review scripts and final videos for language accuracy, subtitles, pacing, brand messaging, and overall creative quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Performance Marketing team to ensure creatives are delivered on time and meet campaign requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Proficiency in Malayalam, with Kannada as an added advantage. Candidates proficient in both languages are preferred.
  • Strong writing skills and a good understanding of conversational, locally relevant language.
  • Interest in advertising, digital content, social media, and performance marketing.
  • Ability to identify engaging hooks, relatable stories, and creative approaches for ads.
  • Good research, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, especially in language quality and creative execution.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and manage multiple creatives and deadlines.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply.

Prior experience in content writing, influencer marketing, video production, or digital advertising is a plus, but not mandatory.

What You’ll Learn

  • How performance marketing creatives are conceptualised, scripted, and produced.
  • How regional-language advertising is adapted for different audiences.
  • How influencer research and shortlisting work.
  • How to manage the creative production process from script to final ad delivery.
  • How creative teams collaborate with Performance Marketing to support campaign objectives.

Who Would Be a Good Fit?

Someone who understands how people speak in everyday conversations, can spot relatable regional stories, enjoys creating ad ideas, and is comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders to get things done.
