Trainee Test Engineer (Walk-In Drive)

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Test Engineer focused on game testing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the quality assurance process and work closely with our clients to ensure high quality and smooth functionality of games across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance to identify defects and ensure overall quality.
• Execute test cases and test plans according to project requirements and deadlines.
• Document and track bugs using designated bug tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and testing reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to game testing methodologies and tools.
• Adhere to quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing procedures.
• Contribute to the overall improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the QA lead or management team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong passion for gaming with extensive experience across various platforms (Mobile, PC, consoles).
• In-depth knowledge of multiple game genres (e.g., RPG, FPS, strategy, sports).
• Proficiency with smartphones (Apple/Android) and associated technologies (AR, VR).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with software testing principles and methodologies.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to learn new concepts, tools, and technologies quickly.

Qualifications

• Intermediate And Above education.
• Candidate must have completed their education and should not be currently pursuing any course, degree, or other educational program.

Employment Details

• Employment Type: Contractual (1 month to start, subject to extension depending on performance & business requirement). Role starts with contractual, may convert to permanent based on performance.
• CTC: 1.90 LPA + Night Shift Allowance (if in the shift only).
• Work Type: Work from Office.
• Shift Type: Rotational / Night Shift.
• Candidate should be an immediate joiner and available to join at short notice.
• Candidates must be flexible to work from the office and in rotational/night/weekend shifts as required.

Interview Process

• HR screening round.
• Assessment round (Online at office premises).
• Operations rounds (Face to face).
• NHT (New Hire Training for 5 days and need to clear the certification).
• HR discussion.
• Offer release and Onboarding.
