Assembly Operator

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity at our Spartanburg facility for an entry-level or experienced Production Team Member. This is a direct hire position with 10-12 hour shifts, rotating days from 6 am - 6 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all procedures and documentation requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all 5S and PPE requirements.
• Visually monitor housekeeping and plant organization.
• Monitor and address safety & environmental concerns on the shop floor.
• Monitor quality issues toward the goal of zero defects.
• Operate and make adjustments to the operation process (training provided).
• Work safely and direct others in safe work practices.
• Quickly identify equipment issues and involve support such as the Maintenance Team.
• Direct and monitor execution of the production schedule.
• Inspect parts and perform process troubleshooting (training provided).
• Be active in the Continuous Improvement suggestion program.
• Utilize the escalation process when necessary.
• Perform daily first piece and process inspections.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with Motus Quality Management System.
• Maintain and ensure Customer Specifications are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist supervisor or management as directed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous working experience in a manufacturing production facility is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (8 hours per day).
• Occasional lifting of a maximum of 30 lbs.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand tools.
