About the Role
This remote internship role for a Nutritionist involves supporting the development and delivery of individualized nutrition plans under supervision. Working independently allows for a high degree of autonomy in designing programs, scheduling consultations, and selecting tools and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with nutritional assessments.
- Preparing client education materials.
- Contributing to counseling sessions focused on weight management, general wellness, and specific dietary needs.
- Researching evidence-based nutrition guidelines.
- Organizing client records.
- Participating in follow-up communications to support client adherence.
- Collaborating on online content such as handouts, newsletters, or social media posts that promote healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools for telehealth, document creation, and online communication.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge in Dietetics and Nutrition.
- Skills in Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management.
- Competencies in Nutrition Education and client communication.
- Strong research, organization, and documentation abilities.
- Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program in nutrition, dietetics, or health sciences is preferred.
