Data Analyst Trainee

About the Role

MedTourEasy AP is a global healthcare company focused on providing individuals and organizations with information to evaluate international healthcare options. The company delivers analytical solutions to partner healthcare providers, helping them make data-driven decisions and improve patient outcomes. This is a remote traineeship program for a Data Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare and operational data from multiple sources.
• Perform basic data analysis.
• Prepare statistical summaries.
• Support the creation of dashboards and reports for internal teams and partner healthcare providers.
• Help interpret data insights.
• Contribute to data modeling activities.
• Communicate findings in clear formats for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document methods.
• Maintain data accuracy.
• Collaborate with senior analysts on ongoing projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excel
• SQL
• Data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) - familiarity is beneficial

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
• Knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical concepts to real-world datasets.
• Basic Data Modeling skills, including understanding of data structures and relational concepts.
• Clear and effective Communication Skills for presenting data insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field - preferred.
• Interest in global healthcare systems and willingness to learn about healthcare data and regulatory considerations - an advantage.
