You'll also give structured feedback on AI-generated outputs. Your toxicology expertise is the asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and annotate technical and scientific toxicology and nonclinical safety content related to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical development
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Spot errors, gaps, and unsupported conclusions, and explain your reasoning clearly
- Follow detailed annotation guidelines precisely and apply them consistently
- Work with the project team to clarify edge cases and improve guidelines
- Take part in quality checks on your own work and on the work of others
Qualifications
- Significant professional experience in toxicology or nonclinical safety, such as at a pharmaceutical or biotech company, a preclinical contract research organization, a consultancy, or a regulatory body
- Strong working knowledge of the standards, guidance, and regulatory expectations that apply to nonclinical safety assessment
- Advanced degree (PhD, DVM, MD/DO, or MS) in toxicology, pharmacology, pathology, or a related scientific field
- Excellent attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work
- Proven ability to follow written instructions exactly, including when they are long or nuanced
- Clear written communication, including the ability to justify your scientific judgments
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time in a remote setting
Note: This role is focused on toxicology and drug safety work. It is not a patient-care or clinical practice role.
