About the Role
Kumon is the world’s largest after-school math and reading enrichment program. At our center, we are dedicated to helping students from age 4 to 14 years of age. We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Kumon Center Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting students, grading assignments, preparing materials, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the center.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide Early Learners (ages 3–7) through worksheets and ensure they study assigned material.
- Guide students ages 8-14 with Math & Reading assignments.
- Grade and log homework and classwork into student records.
- Support the Kumon team with instructional tasks as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in math and reading.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children succeed.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be a citizen or have work authorization.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.

- Job Type: Part-time hours (typically 4 days per week, 3-6:30pm)
- Pay: Starting at $10 per hour.
