Junior Architect

About the Role

The Junior Architect will support the design team in delivering architecture and interior projects from concept to detailed design, working on-site at the Moradabad studio. This full-time role involves assisting with architectural drawings, spatial planning, and design development, as well as preparing 3D models, visualizations, and presentation materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with architectural drawings and spatial planning.
• Support design development and translation of client requirements into design solutions.
• Prepare 3D models, visualizations, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with senior team members on design documentation.
• Contribute to material selection and detailing.
• Revise drawings based on feedback.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with consultants and vendors as directed.
• Maintain organized project files.
• Actively participate in design reviews and internal discussions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino).
• Proficiency in rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for presentations.
• Familiarity with BIM or parametric tools that integrate design data and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, spatial planning, and detailing.
• Relevant Software Development and Integration skills as applied to architectural workflows.
• Project Management abilities, including task coordination, time management, and basic understanding of project phases and deliverables.
• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent).
• Strong design portfolio.
• Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction processes.
• Effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to collaborate in a studio environment and work on-site in Moradabad.
