About the Role
The Oak Age is seeking a Content Writer Intern to assist with creating a variety of written content, including blogs, newsletters, and product descriptions. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in content creation and search engine optimization (SEO).
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to blogs, newsletters, emails, and other content for The Oak Age.
- Work on the SEO aspects of content, including keywords and structure.
- Learn SEO principles with mentorship.
- Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and maintained over time.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excellent command of the English language, writing cleanly, correctly, and with a natural feel.
- Ability to write simply and clearly, without unnecessary words.
- Diligence in ensuring factual accuracy, particularly on health topics.
- Curiosity about SEO and how content is discovered, with a strong desire to learn.
- A habit of reading, understanding what makes writing engaging.
- Proficiency in using AI tools is acceptable, provided the writing and thought process are original.
Qualifications
- Freshers are welcome.
- 0 to 1 year of experience.
Details:
- Location: On-site in Chennai.
- Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
- Duration: Starts as a 3-month internship.
- Stipend: ₹ 10k-₹15k per month.
- Potential for performance-based pay increase and transition to a full-time role after the internship.
