About the Role
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience in stores by delivering high standards of selling services. This role is pivotal in driving store revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Focus
- Greet and welcome walk-in customers, guiding them to the clinic and promoting free eye check-ups.
- Participate in stocktakes and maintain sales floor standards for an optimal shopping experience.
- Possess a basic understanding of the POS system for effective transaction processing.
- Demonstrate dedication to customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns proactively.
- Product Recommendation
- Present optimal product selections to customers based on information from the Optometrist and customer needs.
- Identify unstated customer needs, ask relevant questions, and identify opportune moments to pitch recommended solutions.
- Achieving Sales Targets & SOP Adherence
- Achieve assigned targets for sales, eye-test conversion, and returns.
- Diligently follow all assigned Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with customers for product pick-up after receiving communication from the warehouse.
- Verify the accuracy of fitted lenses before product handover.
- Understand reasons for returns and attempt resolution to control return percentages.
- Store Upkeep & Maintenance
- Maintain Lenskart's hygiene standards for overall display, frames, instruments, and store equipment through regular cleaning.
- Ensure the security of all Lenskart equipment and prevent shortages or damage to stock.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass; Graduates preferred.
- Ability to build rapport and trusting relationships.
- Ability to understand unstated customer needs and offer solutions.
- Clear articulation and active listening skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and openness to learn.
- Proactive task ownership, result-orientation, and customer-orientation.
- Ability to multitask and organize activities based on priority.
