About the Role
- Seeking associates to join the Spoke Assurance group in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX.
- Anticipated start date: January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
- Assists in the preparation and submission of Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) Form 5500 filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems.
- Provides data ingestion support for audit engagements, including formatting, cleansing, and organizing client data for audit tools.
- Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training.
- Completes research and special projects as needed.
- Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
