Sales Associate

About the Role

• This is a full-time, on-site position based in Reston, VA.
• The role is responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective clients in the public sector and education markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and meetings.
• Support the development of new business opportunities.
• Assist in preparing proposals and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with consulting and delivery teams to align sales efforts with client needs.
• Manage a sales pipeline.
• Follow up on leads.
• Participate in client meetings.
• Contribute to marketing and sales campaigns.
• Build long-term relationships.
• Understand client challenges.
• Represent Worldgate’s services in a professional and client-centered manner.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in client relationship building, customer service, and professional communication.
• Experience with prospecting, lead generation, and basic sales pipeline management.
• Ability to prepare and review sales materials, proposals, and presentations with attention to detail.
• Comfort with using CRM or similar systems, as well as standard office productivity tools.
• Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in or exposure to public sector, school districts, or IT consulting is beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Reston, VA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
