Key Responsibilities

• Performing testing procedures, including substantive and controls testing, vouching, verification, etc.
• Providing necessary support to the team manager on audit engagement formalities.
• Handling allocated areas and work, including testing and relevant audit procedures.
• Preparing audit work papers and ensuring compliance with firms' policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Managing and supervising junior team members, including article staff.
• Acting as a SPOC for the team with the client in terms of data flow, communication, coordination, and discussions.
• Coordinating with internal and external teams, including client personnel, for information/data.
• Supporting the team on standardization of processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues, and research solutions.
• Supporting the team manager in project management, preparing status updates, and compiling requirements lists.
• Participating in meetings with various teams and contributing to handled areas and responsibilities.
• Understanding business & industry issues/trends.
• Ensuring timely delivery of working papers as per defined timelines.
• Ensuring compliance with engagement plans, internal quality & risk management procedures.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong proficiency in English (written and oral).
• Excellent knowledge of auditing.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, including and specifically Ind AS.
• Strong proficiency in using Excel and spreadsheets.
• Good understanding of concepts around accounting and auditing, including familiarity with financial statements.

Qualifications

• CA Fresher with relevant articleship experience, primarily and substantially in statutory audit.
• Experience of working on-site and performing audits.
• Client and team management experience.
• Experience of reviewing financial statements, compiling audit reports, etc.
• Knowledge and experience of audit documentation, preparing and completing audit work papers, etc.
