Position Overview
Future Interns is seeking a UI/UX Design Intern to assist with interface and user-experience assignments during the October 2026 internship cycle. This opportunity is intended for students and recent graduates interested in digital product design. The intern will support research, wireframing, interface design, prototyping, and design documentation while receiving guidance on assigned work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic user research and competitor reviews.
- Organize research observations and identify usability considerations.
- Create user flows and wireframes for assigned interfaces.
- Develop interface designs for web or mobile experiences.
- Build prototypes to communicate interactions and screen flows.
- Apply appropriate layout, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Maintain consistency across related screens and components.
- Incorporate feedback from design reviews.
- Prepare design files and supporting documentation for development handoff.
- Communicate design decisions and open questions clearly.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Interest in digital products and user experience.
- Ability to communicate design ideas clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Basic knowledge of accessibility considerations.
- Academic or personal UI/UX projects.
