Junior AI Full Stack Developer

About the Role

As a Junior AI Full Stack Developer at eholler, you will contribute to the development of AI-powered web applications, intelligent automation systems, and AI-based software products. You will work across frontend development, backend APIs, database integration, LLM application development, and workflow automation. You will also use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve development speed and productivity while maintaining code quality and understanding the solutions you build.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Build backend services, REST APIs, and application logic using Python or Node.js.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) using OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, and other relevant AI services.
• Develop AI-powered applications such as chatbots, research assistants, content generation tools, and business intelligence applications.
• Build and experiment with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, and AI agent workflows.
• Work with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, and AutoGen.
• Integrate databases, manage application data, and implement CRUD operations using PostgreSQL, Supabase, or MongoDB.
• Explore vector databases such as FAISS, ChromaDB, and Pinecone for AI application development.
• Develop workflow automations and API integrations using n8n, Make, and webhooks.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development, troubleshoot issues, refactor code, and improve productivity.
• Experiment with AI application development platforms such as Lovable, Emergent, and Replit to prototype and validate ideas.
• Test applications, debug issues, improve reliability, and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and project planning.
• Learn and apply secure coding practices, application deployment, and performance optimization.

Requirements & Tech Stack

Candidates are not expected to master every technology in this stack. However, they should have strong fundamentals and practical knowledge of the core technologies.

• Frontend Development

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Basic to working knowledge of TypeScript.

• Understanding of React fundamentals.

• Familiarity with Next.js and Tailwind CSS.

• Exposure to Streamlit or Gradio for building AI application interfaces is an advantage.

• Backend Development and APIs

• Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, functions, modules, and error handling.

• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP requests, and API integration.

• Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js/Express.

• Understanding of environment variables and secure API key management.

• AI and LLM Development

• Basic understanding of generative AI, large language models, and prompt engineering.

• Familiarity with integrating at least one LLM API is preferred.

• Understanding of structured outputs, conversation history, and tool calling is an advantage.

• Interest in RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and AI agents.

• Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen is a plus.

• Database Technologies

• Basic understanding of SQL and database design.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Supabase, or MongoDB.

• Understanding of database integration and CRUD operations.

• Exposure to vector databases such as FAISS, ChromaDB, or Pinecone is an advantage.

• AI-Assisted Coding and Development Tools

• Candidates should be willing to use modern AI development tools responsibly, including:

• The ability to understand, validate, debug, and improve AI-generated code is essential. Merely knowing how to generate code using AI tools is not sufficient.

• Interest in connecting AI models, databases, and business applications through automated workflows.

• Development Fundamentals

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Candidates from other educational backgrounds with demonstrable programming skills and relevant projects.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge of full-stack or AI application development.
• Candidates with 0-6 months of professional experience.
• Candidates who have completed relevant software development, AI, or full-stack development internships.
• Self-taught developers who can demonstrate their capabilities through working applications or GitHub projects.
• Strong fundamentals, practical implementation skills, and the ability to learn are more important than the number of tools listed on a resume.
